We have invested heavily to ensure that we exceed customer expectations in everything we do. Here are just some of the areas where we continue to maintain our position as the leaders in our sector.
Transport
Our delivery fleet comprises over thirty vehicles, ranging from 3.5 tonne Transit vans to 10 tonne HGV Trucks.
Every vehicle is multi-temperature enabled, with a dedicated refrigeration system for each compartment. We comply with all current Food Safety Legislation relating to temperature levels and control.
In line with our commitment to protect and preserve the environment, when purchasing refrigeration systems, we have moved away where possible from noisy, high emission diesel systems to the more efficient and silent daytime eutectic beam systems on our larger fleet.
Warehousing
Both our major depots feature multi temperature stores for the storage of frozen, chilled and ambient products.
We have approximately 600 pallets of frozen storage space at -20 degrees and below. Supporting this, we have another 100 pallets of chilled space at +3 degrees and a further 1500 pallet location area in our ambient stores.
Total Foodservice Solutions has invested significantly to ensure our refrigeration plant is reliable and efficient, using state of the art electronic expansion valve technology. This provides the temperature levels and control required, saving energy and benefiting the environment.
All our temperature controlled stores have dual systems to ensure a continually maintained temperature regardless of power supply, with a 24/7, 365 days a year maintenance contractor just a phone call away. We won't let you down.
Operations Staff
Our staff receive intensive and progressive training in line with our ISO 9001 procedures and documenting systems to ensure we pick, load and deliver your orders accurately, in good condition, and at the correct temperature.
As well as being expert professionals in their own right, all our drivers undergo Basic Food Hygiene training so that they are aware of the critical nature of the products they are carrying. We incentivise them to further their driving skills by joining the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
Finally, to encourage courtesy towards other road users and to demonstrate our commitment to quality of operations, the company is part of the Nationwide Well Driven Scheme.

Distribution Area
Total Foodservice Solutions covers a wide geographic area, including a huge section of the North of England, encompassing areas of North Yorkshire, the Dales, South Lakes and all the major conurbations of York, Leeds, Bradford, Blackburn, Manchester, Preston, Blackpool & Liverpool.
Using vehicle tracking software and sophisticated routing programs, we offer the majority of customers twice weekly deliveries. In some locations we can deliver more frequently to keep you fully stocked at all times.
We boast the industry's lowest minimum delivery value of just £50. And, with over 4000 products to choose from, we ensure you receive orders when you need them.
I.T. Systems
Total Foodservice Solutions has, for the last 15 years, developed its IT and software requirements in combination with Lady Lodge Systems, our bespoke computer developer, dedicated to providing a seamless business service.
We use a network of over 50 terminals, running on a Linux system to ensure total reliability. Our bespoke software has been developed specifically to reflect our unrivalled customer service standards, providing us with consistent levels of reliability.
Every aspect of a customer's order can be tracked from initiation, through picking, to delivery.
